For your listening pleasure a little Music:
Name That Tune...you can
pause it if you like...but why?
My Wife Dawn
| Homelife - Dawn has a lot of
interests around the house. She enjoys baking (she made me put that in
here), walking, socializing, making new friends, watching movies, and
most importantly, taking care of me. (Which she does pretty well.) Sleeping is what she
does best, though.....(editor's note: It's my website, I can say what I want :) She
can change it if she figures out how..ha! ha!)
|
| Work - Dawn works for
ColemanPowermate as an account manager in the generator/air compressor division. She
enjoys her work and I enjoy the employee discounts on the outdoor and camping gear.
|
| Fun - Dawn and I both enjoy
camping, sports, and outdoors activities. (We will have to buy a camper soon because of
the "tent-camping-with-a-bobcat" incident.) I might have to stage a
"swimming-with-the-snakes" incident so I can get a boat too...or how about a
"too-windy-for-a-car-top-carrier" trauma to work in a 4x4 truck/SUV.....Hmmm.
She also enjoys playing games like yahtzee and card games.
|
| Family - Dawn was raised in NE
Nebraska. For most of her life, she lived in Clearwater, NE. and graduated from H.S.
there. She went on to college, receiving a B.S. degree in business from Wayne State
College in 1994. Her mother, Bev, lives in Sgt. Bluff, IA, close to most of her
other relatives. She has 1 sister, Lynn, who lives in Lincoln, NE.
|
| Future - Dawn likes her current
position and plans to continue her career with Coleman. We are planning a family in the
near future. Due to her fondness of children, becoming a mother is Dawn's greatest wish. I
think she will be a great mother. She is a great wife and completes my life. I don't know
what I would do without her.

About Trav
| Homelife - There's
lots of stuff I do around the house. We bought a house in Oct. of 97. With a family home
purchase, the wife gets a special list. Named after a melon, it's called the Honey
Dew. (Honey, do this - Honey do that..) When I'm not unplugging the garbage disposal (potato
peelings didn't go down the first 3 times she tried it either) or
something, I like to do woodworking or do p.c. developing. We also have 2 dogs.
Angel is a 2 yr. old American Eskimo. She's very playfull and great with kids. Trish is a
cockapoo. She's a good lap dog who mainly likes to hide out under the bed. We voluntered
to be "Godparents" for Trish when Dawn's Grandmother passed away in Feb
99'.

| Work - I work for
Convergys Corporation as a Programmer / Analyst. The company is diversified in many
different areas and countries. Most of my work is creative report designing and database
management. The job is challenging, which makes it enjoyable...most of the time.
|
| Fun - If you ask
my wife, I have too many things I like to do. Softball season is here! (This year I
hope to not have to stop at the oxygen tank between first and second base..) I love to
fish and camp. Trout fishing ranks #1in my favorites to do. I also like to golf and
enjoy almost everything outdoors... boating, skiing, tennis, etc.
|
| Family - I was born
in South Dakota, where my father was a construction mason. When I was 3, I moved to
Colorado Springs until I was 12. We then moved to Tekamah, NE, where I graduated from
H.S. I went on to get a B.S. Degree in business from Wayne State College in 1990. I
have one sister, Heidi who lives in St.Louis with her husband, Mark and their daughter,
Madeline. I don't have any brothers, but two of my closest friends, Brad & Don, have
always been like one. (see pictures page) I have many good friends that will always be
considered my 'family'. I'm also very close to my relatives too, especially my cousins. My
Mom, Ida, lives in Fremont, NE. and My Dad, Pete and his wife Emily live in Decatur,
NE.
|
| Future - I've been
spending a bit of time developing a home business to make a little 'spending' money. If I
take the time and do it right, maybe it can be my permanent job. I'd love to be able to
work at home and take care of the family. Dawn and I have also found church to be an
important interest, so we will spend more time with church activities and explore our
faith.
